Alessio Enea
International Concert Pianist Alessio Enea has performed throughout Europe to great acclaim. A participant of several national and international competitions he gained 1st prize at the City of Caccamo Competition and was a finalist of the world-renowned Italian competition “Premio Venezia” in 2015.
In 2016 he gave his concerto debut with orchestra performing Beethoven’s 3rd Piano Concerto with the student orchestra of CSI. Shortly afterwards he was awarded the Lyra Foundation scholarship in support of his studies and has given recitals in several venues across Switzerland.
After graduating with honors from his conservatory in Italy, Alessio gained a place at the prestigious "Conservatorio della Svizzera italiana" in Lugano, Switzerland, where he graduated with distinction of Master of Arts in Music Performance under the guidance of M. Nora Doallo.
His passion and enthusiasm for passing on and teaching his craft compelled him to undertake another Masters of Arts degree in Music Pedagogy in Lugano which he graduated from with full honors.
As a soloist and chamber musician Alessio has performed at the Teatro La Fenice and Sale Apollinee (Venice). The MAC (Musica Arte e Cultura, Milan). The Galleria Harry Bertoia (Pordenone), Villa Tesoriera (Turin), Teatro Politeama (Palermo), the Sala Concerti (Lugano), Pianocity (Milan), the Auditorium Monteverdi (Mantua) and at the LAC (Lugano Arte e Cultura in Switzerland).
He has taken masterclasses with some of the most infamous pianists of the present day, including Homero Francesch at the Lenk Sommerakademie in Switzerland and Vladimir Ashkenazy in Catania (Italy). Alessio has also attended chamber music masterclasses with Macha Yanouchevsky, Pavel Bermann, Klaidi Sahatchi, Massimo Quarta, and Saiko Sasaki.
Alessio moved to London in 2020 and gained the Charles Napper Award and Gary & Eleanor Brass Scholarship in support of his studies at the Royal College of Music. In 2021 he qualified with distinction from his Masters in Performance degree under the renowned professor Dmitri Alexeev.
